Webflow in three steps.
- 1
Create a form and copy its Public Key
Sign up and copy the complete submit URL. No code beyond the embed is needed.
- 2
Add an Embed block with the form
Drop an HTML Embed onto the page and paste the form markup, styled with your own classes or Webflow’s style panel on surrounding elements.
- 3
Or set the action on a Form Block
Select a native Form Block, set its action to the complete endpoint URL, and use method POST.
Copy this into Webflow.
Swap in your form’s key and submissions start landing in your inbox.
<form action="https://api.surveyowl.co/v1/submit/sk_live_…" method="POST">

<input name="email" type="email" placeholder="Email" required />

Webflow forms post to Webflow, unless you change where they post. An Embed block (or a custom attribute on a Form Block) redirects the submit to the endpoint, so you keep the Designer’s layout tools and lose the form-storage limits.
Field names on a native Form Block map to Webflow’s input names. Rename them in the Designer to the labels you want in the inbox. Embeds need a site plan that allows custom code; the Form Block attribute route works on any paid plan.
