How it works

Shopify in three steps.

  1. 1

Create a form and copy its Public Key

Sign up, create a form for the store, and copy the Public Key.

  2. 2

    Add a custom-liquid section

In the theme editor, add a custom-liquid section to the target page and paste the form markup with the complete action URL.

  3. 3

    Save and submit a test

Publish the theme change and send one test response to confirm it reaches the inbox.

Great for

What people build with it.

Wholesale or B2B inquiry forms on storefront themes.

Product feedback or waitlist capture outside the customer record.

Custom sections where the theme contact form is too tied to Shopify’s email flow.

FAQ

Shopify forms, answered.

1. Create a form and copy its Public Key: Sign up, create a form for the store, and copy the Public Key. 2. Add a custom-liquid section: In the theme editor, add a custom-liquid section to the target page and paste the form markup with the complete action URL. 3. Save and submit a test: Publish the theme change and send one test response to confirm it reaches the inbox.

Shopify themes are Liquid templates, and Liquid is happy to host a plain form. Paste it into a custom-liquid section in the theme editor or a page template, and responses land outside the store entirely. That is useful for pre-order interest, wholesale inquiries, and feedback that shouldn’t live in the orders admin.

The form posts off-domain, so nothing touches Shopify’s cart, customer, or notification system. Connect Google Sheets or a webhook on the same form and inquiries flow into the tools the store already uses.
