Your account
You are responsible for activity under your account and for keeping your sign-in details safe. Give accurate information when you register, and tell us if you think someone else has access.
Your content
You own the forms you build and the responses you collect. You give SurveyOwl permission to store, process and display them as needed to run the service, including delivering responses to the integrations you connect. You are responsible for having the right to collect that data, and for telling your respondents what you do with it.
Acceptable use
- Do not use a form to deceive people, collect passwords or payment card numbers, or impersonate another person or organisation.
- Do not upload or collect unlawful content, malware or content that infringes someone else’s rights.
- Do not probe, overload or attempt to break the service, or use the submit API to send spam.
- Do not resell the service or use it to build a competing product.
We may remove content or suspend an account that breaks these rules, and we will tell you why where we can.
Plans and billing
Paid plans renew each month or year until you cancel. Prices and limits are shown on the pricing page at the time you subscribe, and payments are handled by our payment provider, who also collects any tax due. Cancelling stops the next renewal; the plan stays active until the end of the period you paid for. Refunds are covered by the refund policy.
Availability and changes
We work to keep the service running but cannot promise it will always be available or free of errors. We may change features, and we will give notice before a change that materially reduces what your plan includes.
Ending the agreement
You can stop using SurveyOwl and delete your account at any time. We can end or suspend access if you break these terms or if the law requires it. Export your responses before you delete anything you need to keep.
Liability
The service is provided as it is. To the extent the law allows, SurveyOwl is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, and its total liability for a claim is limited to the amount you paid for the service in the twelve months before it arose.
